Written by the quintessential manga artist Matsumoto Reiji, the epic sci-fi romance takes place in a futuristic world where everything has been eroded into the sand. The story follows the sand pirate Sam Coin as he chase after the giant creature Ozma, that killed his brother. During his quest, he meets the mysterious and beautiful Maya, who is chased by the government forces.
