No artist has been able to win as many top spots in the Oricon chart as Kinki Kids. Lately, Dohmoto Tsuyoshi and Dohmoto Koichi have been busy with their solo careers, Tsuyoshi with his TV variety program and Koichi with his musical, and its been ages since they have worked together as a band.

Family and the coupling songs are written by Tsuyoshi, composed by Koichi, and arranged by their long time collaborator Yoshida Takuro. It's a gentle ballad that expresses the warmth of being with friends and family, perfect for this festive season.
